Scott B. Riddle

Scott B. Riddle concentrates his practice in the areas of bankruptcy and creditors' representation, business and corporate litigation, and construction and real estate litigation.  Mr. Riddle represents individuals and small to mid-size businesses, including builders and developers, creditors, debtors, and parties who have been sued by a bankruptcy trustee.

Mr. Riddle is a noted authority in the area of bankruptcy law, and is frequently called upon by his peers to serve as a speaker at continuing legal education programs and seminars on topics related to bankruptcy law and litigation.  He has been quoted on CNN.com, in the Atlanta Journal, the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the Wall Street Journal and other publications, and interviewed on Atlanta radio stations.  Mr. Riddle also publishes the Georgia Bankruptcy Blog, which is one of the oldest and highly-rated legal blogs in the country.

Prior to establishing his own practice, Scott B. Riddle served as law clerk to the Honorable W. Homer Drake, Jr., United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Georgia.  Mr. Riddle also worked for several years in the litigation and bankruptcy sections of Troutman Sanders, LLP, a large Atlanta-based law firm.  Mr. Riddle brings this wealth of knowledge and experience to his own law office, where he renders personal, full-service representation for his clients.

Mr. Riddle is active in his community and is a member of several civic organizations.  He is also active in his church, having served on committees that provide financial counseling to members and as a leader of international mission trips.
